In the year of the Host 1066, King Charles enters the fifth year of his reign. He holds a feast to celebrate the day his armies cast down the tyrant Magnus. Now humans and those blessed with the powers of Heaven live and work for salvation instead of the damnation of humanity at the hands of the Iron King.
House Xavier: Blessed with the greatest gifts of Heaven, the benevolent king sits on a throne still recovering from his wounds at the Battle of Westchester.
House Grey: Xavier's favorite disciple. As yet unmarried, though whosoever takes her hand would make the strongest claim to succeed him.
House Summers: Xavier's bravest knight and right hand of the house of Xavier. He loves Lady Gray though he is married to Lady Frost.
House Rasputin: The newest house, elevated after the loss of Robert the Drake during the war. Rasputin is an honest and forthright knight, though at a loss in more courtly manners.
Archbishop Worthington: Responsible for the Church's blessing of the Host's powers and legitimizing Xavier's claim to the throne.
Tower of the Beast: A collection of those unfortunate demons using their Host-granted powers for good instead of evil.
House Magnus: Scattered to the winds by his death, agents looking to avenge the Iron King conspire in secret.
House Darkholme: The Queen of All Faces has yet to be found. Whether she bears an heir for the Iron King remains yet to be seen.
House Lebeaux: A dark charmer who stayed neutral during the war. Rumored to be in league with the Rogues and profiting from their outlaw status.
House Frost: Most Magnus loyalists came under her banner. She arranged for a marriage to Sir Scott to protect her
Logan: Refused a banner even though he slew Erik Magnus in his own throne room.
The Rogues: Outlaws that steal gold, jewels and even the powers of the Host. Led by "Mary Streak".
